식품의 가치를 향상시키는 요소는 다양합니다. 그중에서도 우리는 미적가치를 중점으로 연구를 실시하여 아름다움을 넘어 새로운 고급 기술을 개발함에 목적을 두고 우리나라 전통 음식을 현대적 감성으로 해석해 나아갈 것입니다. 이전에는 없던 분야를 새로 개척하며 앞으로 나아가는 우리 KRIFA 연구원들 모두에게 응원과 기대를 부탁드립니다. 

There are many factors that enhance the value of food. Among them, we will focus on aesthetic value and develop anew our traditional food into modern sensibility with the aim of developing new advanced technology beyond beauty. KRIFA는 식품 공예 기술과 학문을 심도 있게 연구하고 새로운 콘텐츠를 개발하여 보급함으로써 식품이 공예의 한 분야로써 한국적 콘텐츠로 발전함에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다. 

We aim to contribute to the development of food-art and crafts into Korean contents as an area of craft by studying food craft technology in depth and developing and disseminating new contents.
